The 68th Biennial Conference of the

Empire State Association of the Deaf

 

Founded in 1865, the Empire State Association of the Deaf (ESAD) is the oldest State Association and      continues to commit its services through the             advancement of the moral, social, intellectual, and    economic standings for the Deaf citizens of New York State.  ESAD is the state’s affiliate to the National    Association of the Deaf, the nation’s  premier civil rights              organization of, by and for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.

 

 

Buffalo Civic Association of the Deaf (BCAD) is proud to host the 68th Biennial Conference of the ESAD from June 23 to June 26, 2011 in Buffalo, New York.       Conference attendees will be able to attend various workshops and meetings geared toward promoting the social and economic well-being of individuals with   hearing loss.  There will be various vendor booths   exhibiting businesses and products at the Hilton Garden Inn on June 24 and 25, 2011.

 

 

 

Banquet, Chinese Auction & ASL Performance

 

 

On Saturday, June 25, 2011, ESAD will have a banquet at the Hilton Garden Inn where attendees will enjoy a buffet dinner along with a Chinese Auction and an   exciting performance of ASL comedy, magic, and mime by Gregg Spera!  Mr. Spera is part of Keith Wann’s ASL Comedy Tour (www.aslcomedytour.com).  

 

 

 

Combo Tickets and Banquet Only Ticket

 

 

Combo Tickets (Early Bird and Regular) include      membership to ESAD for 2011, attendance at all   scheduled meetings and workshops and the Banquet.       Discounts are available for Senior  Citizens (age 60 and up)  and  Students.

 

 

Banquet Only Tickets are just for the Banquet event on June 25th. Individuals who purchase this ticket will not receive ESAD membership and they cannot attend the meetings and workshops unless they purchase the Combo Ticket.
